Consulting with Purpose
Perfectly Imperfect ADHD was founded in 2018 in Calgary, Alberta in order to provide support to families and educators who are seeking to better understand ADHD. We want to help decrease the stress, confusion and frustration that comes along with an ADHD diagnosis and Executive Function challenges. Together, we learned that ADHD is more than a diagnosis of hyperactivity, impulsivity, inattention and focus.
As teachers, we have spent many years helping students who struggle with reading and writing by teaching them strategies and skills to read and write. It is the same with people who have challenges with executive function. They need to be taught skills to help them with focus, organization, time management and emotional control.
